Founded as P&D Services in the early 1970's, Sharp Print Finishers took on a new lease of life and a new image when the current owner, Warwick Fletcher, purchased the company in 1985. When Warwick bought the company, he relocated to MacKelvie St in Grey Lynn, just around the corner form the original Crummer Rd site.
To keep pace with his expanding business, Warwick took a major step in March 1996, and purchased the Patrick St factory in Te Papapa, a more central site as well as a larger one. Having their own factory has enabled Sharp to expand the range of services they offer, and now any job can be handled completely in-house, rather than relying on a series of out-workers.
The team at Sharp are skilled and qualified in all aspects of the print finishing trade, with certificated tradesmen in the specialist fields of die cutting and die making, folding and guillotining, and printing. The in-house commitment to excellence is maintained with on-going technical skills programmes for everyone. |
